UDBapp will import dot labels, symbols, and symbol colors from the Pyware® file.
To keep the experience as intuitive and accessible as possible, drill files will default into a view that displays dots as enlarged circles while retaining the color assignments from the Pyware® file. Users can optionally select "Letters" as a symbol option, which will display the symbol used while creating the drill file in Pyware®. Labels retain the orientation from the Pyware® drill file and cannot be changed within UDBapp.
The dot labels within the Pyware® file are used to create a UDBapp roster. It is recommended to include the role of the performer along with their number, such as "T12" for "Trumpet 12". UDBapp does NOT import any information from the "cast sheet" within Pyware®, such as names or height. Dots are assigned when Members open the drill file, not from the Pyware® file itself.
