Custom Views allow users to create and save their own drill view preferences that can be quickly selected. When a Custom View is created, it is accessible in any drill file that is opened. Custom Views are tied to your Arc account and will not be visible to other users.

Show/Hide

Toggle the visibility of specific performers, props, or groups

Symbols and Colors

Adjust how symbols are rendered and whether colors are imported or customized

Enlarge Selected Dot

Render the selected dot larger than others in the drill

Animation Dots

Enable to smooth animation

Perspective

Director

View drill with front side line on bottom edge (audience perspective)

Performer

View drill with front side line on top edge (performer perspective)

Display

Listening Zones

Enable or disable Listening Zones (will only render if created by administrator)

Tempo Source Dot

Enable or disable highlighting designated tempo source dot (will only render if created by administrator)

Text Boxes

Show or hide designer text boxes on drill field (still viewable on designer notes screen)

Arrows

Show or hide arrow or line markers added by designer on drill field

Dynamic Markers

Show or hide yard line numbers that move with view

Floor Cover

Show or hide floor cover added by designer on drill field


Create a
custom view

  1. Open the drill file

  2. Tap the UDB button on the Control Wheel

  3. Tap Settings

  4. Scroll to Global Settings and tap Views

  5. Tap Create New View

  6. Name the view, select an icon, and tap Create

  7. Adjust settings to your preferences, then tap Done

  8. Back on the main drill view screen, select the My View widget in the top right corner and tap the newly created Custom View
